We are informed that the scores for the Rose Award will not change in the next issue of the Shooting Administration Procedures and the minimum rounds to be shot are as in the Rules of Shooting. The age groups are as if your birthday is the 1st January.
Rose awards can be claimed at record status tournaments with "Rose Award" status as detailed in ArcheryGB Shooting Administrative Procedures 6.2. Claims should be submitted by filling in the appropriate Archery GB claim form at the tournament. The Tournament Organiser will send it to ArcheryGB membership services along lots of other documents. If you forget to fill in the claim form, then email the Tournament Organiser who may add you, but you have to be quick as the forms are usually sent in to Archery GB within days of the tournament.
An archer may only claim for the score level achieved and may not claim for a level below or equal to that already claimed. (eg If you score from 900 to 999, you can only claim the black 900 award, you cannot claim a white 800 award.) However, missed colours can be claimed by juniors shooting a longer distance round. Junior badges are smaller versions of the senior badge, but juniors shooting the senior round can claim the senior badge.
The current Jan 2023 SAP 6.2, has the page dated Oct 2016 and gives the following rounds to be shot for Rose awards. This does not align with the rounds shot for records.
